Anisodactylus (s.str.) binotatus (FABRICIUS 1787)

L e b a n o n: Bekaa:Ammiq, Reserved Area, wetland, 870 m, 33°43’42’’N / 35°47’09’’E, 31.V.2006, D. Frenzel leg. (1♀, NME).

Widespread species but distribution toward East not well understood. Not mentioned for

Lebanon (CATPAL 1: ITOH 2003: 360). As I know of no other published records, above

finding seems to be the first record for Lebanon.
