Stations. Petro-UFS—18
Distribution. Western Atlantic—Bermuda, USA, Florida, Gulf of Mexico, Antilles, Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, and Brazil (Fernando de Noronha, and from Ceará to São Paulo) ( Melo 1996).
Ecological notes. Shallow waters to a depth of 30 m ( Melo 1996).
Remarks. Hermit crab from Petro-UFS inhabiting a Muricidae shell.
