Range:— Southern Mexico and Guatemala; Costa Rica; Venezuela and Bolivia (CO, LP, TA).
Ecology:— Common; saxicolous, less commonly terrestrial, on rocks, and in crevices of rock faces, occasionally epiphytic, in humid forests and grasslands; 2900–4800 m.
