30. Corthylus fuscus Blandford, 1904 View in CoL . Ambrosial, polyphagous. Known from several unrelated hosts. Minor pest of cultivated Rosaceae such as pears and apples. Central Mexican highlands to Guatemala and El Salvador.

31. * Corthylus ibarrae Atkinson, 2020 . Ambrosial, polyphagous? Collected only in traps. Described from specimens collected in trapping study by Atkinson (2020b). Known only from the immediate region of Xalapa.
