Rheumatobates crassifemur Esaki, 1926 View in CoL occurs from Panama and Trinidad & Tobago to Argentina ( Moreira et al. 2011). The subspecies R. c. esakii View in CoL has been reported from Trinidad & Tobago, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Guyana, Suriname, and northern Brazil ( Moreira et al. 2011), and is herein recorded from French Guiana for the first time.

Crumière): 14 apterous males, 14 apterous females, 43 nymphs ( IGFL) GoogleMaps . Macouria , Crique Patate, puddle, N 0 4.94416, W 0 52.48671, 10.III.2014, (A. Khila; M. E. Santos; A. J. J. Crumière): 3 apterous males, 1 male with broken wings, 1 nymph ( IGFL) GoogleMaps .
