Lectotype ♀ in EMEC ( Price 1977: 213).

Type host: Myiarchus cinerascens (Lawrence, 1851) .

Chilean host: Elaenia albiceps chilensis Hellmayr, 1927 .

Remarks: The identification of this louse is given as tentative by Fuentes et al. (2015), because they only collected seven nymphs.
