Panama, Volcan de Chiriqui, 2000 to 3000 ft. (Champion). Unspecified number of ♀ .

There is a ♀ specimen, referred to as the holotype by Günther (1969: 346), in the BMNH. The MHNG collection includes six ♀ specimens, but these were collected by Biolley, apparently after the publication of the description, and are therefore not types. Box A 4 .
