Habitat in Canada; ex semine. D.Kalm.

Culmi tenues. Folia utrinque & vaginae manifeste pubescentes. Panicula valde nutans, non crispis pedunculis. 77 Spiculae oblongae, compressae, petalorum marginibus (non dorso) valde pilosis, qua nota facile distingvitur. Flosculi8, sub apice aristati; calyces nudi. Glumae corollae lanceolatae.
