Material examined. Fourteen specimens were collected around Isla Roqueta (16°49´N, 99°54´W), in the Acapulco region, with two males (ICMyL MAZ 9376A), nine females (ICMyL MAZ 9376B), and two juveniles (ICMyL MAZ 9376C). Four juveniles were collected at El Maguey (ICMyL MAZ 9377C), near Huatulco region. One ovigerous female (ICMyL MAZ 9373A) was collected at Zacatoso in Ixtapa region
Remarks. This species was reported by Villalobos-Hiriart et al. (1989) to occur throughout the Gulf of California and the Galápagos Islands. Hermoso (1999) and Martínez (2007) confirmed its presence in the Huatulco region. In our study we recorded S. digueti at several sites along the Mexican Tropical Pacific coast, confirming its distribution in the area.
