Distribution in Iran. Golestan: Gurgan [= Gorgan] ( Dahlgren 1968). Hamadan: Bahar, 34°55'N 48°20'E ( Samin et al. 2015). Mazandaran: Neka, Shorab-sar ( Ghahari et al. 2015a). North Khorasan: Budschnurd [= Bojnurd] ( Dahlgren 1968). Generic records: North Iran ( Švihla 1992; Dahlgren 1968, 1975 [but not Iranian localities are mentioned in Dahlgren 1975]), Iran ( Kazantsev 2004, 2011; Kazantsev & Brancucci 2007; Silkin 2008; Yildirim et al. 2011; Kerimova & Huseynova 2014; Cassar 2015; Koçak & Kemal 2015).
Distribution outside Iran. Azerbaijan, Belarus, Central and Southern and Eastern part of Europe and European Russia, Georgia, Great Britain, Ireland, Lithuania, Morocco, North Africa, Sweden, Syria, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine ( Kazantsev & Brancucci 2007; Kazantsev 2011; Yildirim et al. 2011; Kerimova & Huseynova 2014).
