Distribution. Endemic. Galápagos: Floreana, Isabela, San Cristóbal, Santa Cruz, Santiago.

Remarks. Although larvae of this genus are mostly known as predators of scolytid beetle larvae ( Bickel 1985), the immatures of this species likely inhabit rotting cactus ( Bickel & Sinclair 1997).
