Distribution. Endemic. Galápagos: Pinta, Wolf.
Remarks. In the evenings, adults of N. curioi rest on the backs of the crab Grapsus grapsus (L.), which rests in dry places. During the day, the flies feed on the thin organic film covering rocks of the intertidal zone ( Curio 1964).
