Refs.: Williston, 1895a: 184 (key); Prado, 1966: 246 (treated it as unrecognizable from description); 1967: 71 (synonymy with R. femorata); Steyskal, 1967: 4 (could not locate the type at the Natural History Museum); Prado & Papavero, 2009: 13 (cat.).
