According to Zamoroka et al. 2022 some of the Stenurella Villiers, 1974 species “ S. septempunctata Fabricius, 1793 , S. vaucheri Bedel, 1900 and S. nigra Linnaeus, 1758 ” replace to genus Rutpela Nakane & Ohbayashi, 1957 using some morphological features and GenBank data. However, according to Danilevsky (2020) (although published in 2020, the latest updates are continuously made online), these species are still included in the Stenurella .
