Material examined. CHINA: Sichuan Province, Kangding County, Xindu Bridge, 30°03'N, 101°59'E, 3.700 m a.s.l., 1 male, 15.vi.1996, Xinhua Wang (BDN No. 11846).
Remarks. The species was figured and redescribed by Hirvenoja (1973). The Chinese specimen was figured and described by Yan and Wang (2005).
Distribution. The species has a Holarctic distribution and is also taken in the Near East and in Oriental China.
