CUF - NKNY - B 09, B 17 (59 L + 66 R shells; Figs 12 S View Figure 12 , 15 F View Figure 15 ).

Habitat.

Muddy bottom with soft clay, muddy sediments on mud flats, and in the shallow waters from intertidal zones down to 36 m depth ( Huber 2015; Yang et al. 2017).

Distribution.

Indo-West Pacific, from Japan to Indonesia and the Philippines ( Huber 2015; Yang et al. 2017). Records of fossils from the Middle Miocene to Holocene in Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, Taiwan, and Thailand ( Robba et al. 2002; Surakiatchai et al. 2018).

Record in Thailand.

Gulf of Thailand ( Wells et al. 2021).

Taxonomic remarks and comparisons.

This species is characterised by its elongate, ovate-triangular shaped, and posteriorly grooved shell ( Robba et al. 2002; Huber 2015).
