Psammophylax acutus (Günther, 1888)

Sharp-nosed Skaapsteker

Material: PEM R 20006 (23) and 21485 (51).

Comment: Common and widespread species in Angola ( Bocage 1895; Bogert 1940; Ferreira 1906; Laurent 1964 and Monard 1937b). The two from Longa River are the first for south-east Angola. Transferred from Rhamphiophis by Kelly et al. (2008).
