Upper body with pair(s) of dark stripes from neck to tail ( Fig. 6J View Fig ; type I) in the young, which fade on the posterior body ( Fig. 7A View Fig ; type II) in adults; sides of ventrals in adults may be gray tinted; dorsal body scales in even-numbered rows; body scales keeled around the vertebral line and the keels darkened; anal scale divided.
