Material examined. None.

Distribution. Palaearctic. Southern Spain, southeastern Turkey, Morocco and Egypt. Biology. This species apparently inhabits litter along lake and river margins. Previous records. None

Comments. The occurrence of this species in Israel is probable in view of its known circum-mediterranean distribution.
