Vernacular Names: Darling's Horseshoe Bat.

Distribution: NE South Africa, Namibia, S Angola, N and W Botswana, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania, Nigeria.

Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (lc).

Discussion: ferrumequinum species group. Includes barbertonensis; see Hayman and Hill (1971). See Taylor (2000 a) for distribution map.
