Remarks

Male specimens from New Caledonia have consistently fewer articles (four articles) in the flagellum of antenna 2 than material originally described by Myers (1985) from the Fijian Islands (six articles).

Habitat

Found in coral rubble, seagrasses, macroalgae, sponges, red algae, branching coral Pocillopora sp. , green calcareous alga Halimeda sp. , brown algae Turbinaria sp. and Sargassum sp.
