Cycloramphus heyeri Segalla et al., 2021 is a replacement name for Cycloramphus carvalhoi Heyer, 1983 , preoccupied by Cycloramphus carvalhoi ( Izecksohn, 1983 “1982”) (see above). Consequently, the holotype and paratypes of Cycloramphus heyeri Segalla et al., 2021 are the same designated by Heyer (1983) for C. carvalhoi .
