Amphidromus (Syndromus) areolatus : Laidlaw and Solem 1961: 564, 600, 601. Inkhavilay et al. 2017: 20-24, figs 7 g–i, 9a, 10 a–c, 11 a–b.

Material examined.

Lectotype NHMUK 19601430 and paralectotype NHMUK 19601431 (1 shell) figured in Sutcharit et al. (2015: fig. 3j, k). Specimen CUMZ 7022 from Tad Fek waterfall, Sammakeexay District, Attapeu Province (Figs 42D, 57F).

Distribution.

Laos and Thailand ( Laidlaw and Solem 1961, Inkhavilay et al. 2017).
