Material examined

Five specimens were collected from Yunnan Province, one specimen from Guizhou Province .

Remarks

This species was reported as a new record for China from Shaanxi Province ( Li 2007). Colourless. Eyes present. Dorsum of the body with 10 transverse rows of large gibbosities. Cuticle on dorsal side of the body including the gibbosities was covered with densely distributed tubercles. Pharynx with robust apophyses and two rod-shaped macroplacoids, the first macroplacoid with a middle constriction, microplaciod absent. The principal branch of the external claws with a basal portion more robust and a more sharpened distal portion. Accessory points present on the principal branches of the claws. Cuticular bars present on the first three pairs of legs. Lunules present on all legs. My specimens fit the description of this species ( Ramazzotti and Maucci 1983). This is the first report of this species from the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau.
