Distribution. Haiti, Saint Domingo and Saint Vincent in the West Indies; Venezuela, Peru and Brazil in South America ( Schileyko & Minelli 1998). In Colombia it has been found in the Andean, Orinoquia and Amazonian regions.

Altitudinal range. 220 to 850 m.
