Remarks: Very distinctive genus of Ptiliidae described by Johnson on the basis of two species A. marginatum and A. mimicum from the Congo, and a third A. concinnum from Tanzania. Grebennikov (2009) also records seeing indeterminate examples from these countries. These are the first examples of the genus to be recorded from Uganda.
