Basionym: Glechoma arvensis L. (1753) .

Lectotype (Turland in Jarvis & al. in Taxon 50: 511. 2001): Herb. Burser XIII: 63 ( UPS) .

Current name: Stachys arvensis (L.) L. View in CoL ( Lamiaceae ).

Note: Scott (in Bosser & al., Fl. Mascareignes 139: 11. 1994) wrongly treated this as a new species (rather than a new combination) and incorrectly indicated a Mútis collection (736.21 LINN) as type.
