Current name: Euphorbia stricta L. View in CoL ( Euphorbiaceae ).

Note: Dandy (in Watsonia 7: 157-178. 1969) treated this as a superfluous name for E. verrucosa L. (1753) , but Riedl (in Taxon 19: 798. 1970) disagreed, noting that both names appeared in the 1759 account of the genus.
