Type information. TL: [ Ceylon] “ Ceylon and Hong Kong ”. Syntype male, depository: BMNH.
Distribution: Mainland China (Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan), Taiwan and Hainan Islands, southern Japan, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Nepal, India including the Andaman islands, Sri Lanka ( Wang et al. 2015)
Remark. Type locality was subsequently specified as Ceylon by Wang et al. (2015).
