Holotype male with labels: (1) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white label: “ Qinghai Jiegu / no. 1185 / Chinese Academy of Sciences ”; (2) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white label: “19 75. VI.30 / collector Jianyi Wu ”; (3) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red label: “ TYPE / Pegomya / yushuensis / Fan ”.

Preservation: pinned; genitalia dissected and mounted on paper triangle with the specimen; wings curled.

Current name: Pegomya yushuensis Fan, 1986 .
