8 Speleomantes ambrosii bianchii View in CoL - Taxonomic assessment uncertain. According to the phylogenetic study by Carranza et al. (2008) S. a. bianchii would be closer to S. italicus than to S. ambrosii . On the contrary, S. ambrosii would be closer to S. italicus than to S. a. bianchii in the phylogeny by van der Meijden et al. (2009).
