Scaphisoma View in CoL subalpinum subalpinum REITTER, 1881

Material examined. Guilān Prov., Nav’s Valley [between Heroabad and Caspian Sea] 1500 m, 6.- 10.08.73, leg. S. VÍT, 5 ex. ( MHNG).

Distribution. The nominate subspecies is known from most European countries, including the Russian part of Caucasus ( LÖBL 1970, Schülke & Smetana 2015)

Comments. The subspecies was given by LÖBL (2004) and SCHÜLKE & SMETANA (2015) as present in Iran, based on previously unpublished record above (det. LÖBL).
