( Figs. 2 View FIGURE 2 h, 5a)

Type material. Holotype ♂, China: Jiangxi Province: Mt. Jiulian, 20.VII.2006, coll. Jiasheng Xu & Weichun Li, genitalia slide No. ZH07217. Paratype: Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region: 1♂, Mt. Daming, Nanning, 1200 m, 5.VIII.2011, coll. Shulian Hao & Yinghui Sun. Types are deposited in NKUM.

Description. Adult ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 h) with wingspan 15.0 mm. Head grayish brown, white around compound eye. Antenna with scape white on dorsal surface, brown on ventral surface; flagellum brown with white annulations. Labial palpus with second segment grayish white on inner surface, pale brown on outer surface, white apically; third segment grayish brown on dorsal surface, white on ventral surface. Thorax, tegula and patagium creamy white, except blackish brown base of tegula. Forewing with costal margin almost straight, apex protruding triangularly, termen oblique; ground color yellowish brown, with scattered brown scales, distal 1/6 of costal margin and termen black, dorsum blackish brown from basal 1/4 to end; markings blackish brown, edged with pale yellow: humeral patch a small spot; costal patch at basal 2/5, outwardly oblique; blackish brown stripe extending from beyond costal patch to distal 1/5 below costal margin; median patch nearly triangular, extending from upper margin of cell to above dorsum; discocellular stigma wedge-shaped, anteriorly joined with stripe below costal margin, forming a bifurcate pattern, bordered by yellowish white line; subterminal patch trapezoidal, its outer margin extending from costal margin to dorsum; narrow black stripe extending from before lower angle of cell along CuA2 to dorsum at distal 1/4; subterminal fascia yellowish white, followed by a broad zone with scattered brown scales; fringe pale yellow. Hindwing and fringe gray, basal line pale yellow. Fore leg blackish brown, scattered with white scales; mid leg with tibia blackish brown, tarsus black with white; hind leg grayish brown, tibia white before apex, tarsus white at each tarsomere.

Male genitalia ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 a): Uncus clavate, basal 1/3 broad, distal 2/3 parallel-sided, bearing setae laterally, rounded apically. Gnathos with basal 1/3 broad, distal 2/3 narrow, obviously slender and slightly hooked distally, with two ventral teeth before apex. Valva broad at base, narrowed to about middle; costa concave medially; ventral margin concave beyond end of sacullus, with a dentiform process before ventro-distal corner; sacculus short and broad, narrowed from base to end, about 1/3 length of valva; cucullus slightly narrowed to rounded apex, obliquely upturned, setose, arched on outer margin. Juxta nearly quadrate, anterior margin with a small median process, caudal margin nearly straight, sclerotized; caudal lobe absent. Vinculum slightly widened anteriorly. Aedeagus slender, about same length as valva, strongly curved at basal 1/4 on ventral margin, straight in distal 3/4; cornuti being an elongate plate of clustered dense teeth extending from basal 1/4 to before apex, bearing several large grouped spines near its base and apex.

Female unknown.

Diagnosis. This species can be distinguished from its congeners by the forewing with a bifurcate pattern and the valva having a dentiform process before ventro-distal corner, the absence of the caudal lobes of the juxta, and the cornuti being a plate of clustered teeth extending from 1/4 to before apex in the male genitalia.

Distribution. China (Guangxi, Jiangxi).

Etymology. The specific name is derived from the Latin dentatus (dentate), referring to the dentiform process on the ventral margin of the valva.
