They differ from  T. plumipesby the tibiae III tip lacking an apical-ventral row of spiniform setae; and legs, carapace and chelicerae lacking a violet sheen. They differ from females of  T. latipesby the longer spermathecae; from  T. cupreusby the non-oval spermathecae shape, and from  T. rastiby the geographic distribution on Saint Lucia Islandon the Caribbean ( Figs 21–22). Males of  T. polybotesresemble those of  T. rastiby the short embolus less than 2.7 times subtegulum length ( Fig. 103). They differ from  T. rastiby the embolus tip with a sinuous curvature in dorsal view ( Fig. 106).   Type material.  Holotypemale and female paratypefrom Saint Lucia, Lesser Antilles, Sanchezleg., B. Carapace: 1.18 times longer than wide; cephalic region slightly raised, thoracic striae conspicuous. Fovea: deep, straight, 0.85 wide. Eyes: tubercle 0.54 high, 2.17 long, 3.42 wide. Clypeus: absent. Anterior eye row straight, posterior recurved.
