Fully winged; body length 5.6–8.4 mm. Usually completely testaceous or ferrugi- nous, except ocellar triangle and petiole black (occasionally ocellar region testaceous or ferruginous, mesothoracic axilla and anterior margin of metapectal-propodeal disc black); antenna completely testaceous, or with antennomeres 4–5 partly whitish and 6–8 brown; occasionally antenna brown, except scape, pedicel, flagellomeres 8, part of 7, distal third of 2 and proximal half of 3 whitish. Antenna clavate; antennomeres in following proportions: 10:7:57: 36:24:14:11:8:7:10. Head ( Fig. 143A) flat, dull, granulate, slightly rugose or sculptured by many longitudinal striae; occipital carina complete, but slightly visible on lateral regions of occiput; POL = 3; OL = 2; OOL = 13; OPL = 2; TL = 7; lateral ocelli situated behind virtual straight line joining posterior edges of eyes; posterior margin of vertex convex. Pronotum dull, granulate and with numerous longitudinal striae on lateral regions; pronotum crossed by slight anterior transverse impression and strong posterior transverse furrow; disc humped; posterior collar very long, much longer than pronotal tubercle; pronotal tubercle reaching tegula. Mesoscutum dull, granulate, with lateral regions sculptured by numerous longitudinal striae; occasionally longitudinal striae present also on median region of mesoscutum. Notauli complete, occasionally slightly visible near mesoscutellum. In specimen from Madagascar, 12°13.97’ S 49°21.99’E, notauli reaching about 0.7 × length of mesoscutum. Mesoscutellum and metanotum dull, granulate, occasionally rugose and striate. Metapectal-propodeal disc and propodeal declivity shiny, completely reticulate rugose. Forewing with two dark transverse bands; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein much longer than proximal part. Protarsomeres in following proportions: 27:3:8:22:33. Enlarged claw ( Fig. 141D) with one large subdistal tooth and one row of 12 lamellae. Protarsomere 5 ( Fig. 141D) with two rows of approximately 33 lamellae; apex with approximately 23 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.  ♂.
