Fully winged; body length 2.3–3.5 mm. Completely testaceous-reddish, except petiole black; in specimen from Sierra Leone, 08°31’N 13°17’W, metapectal-propodeal disc darkened. Antenna clavate; antennomeres in following proportions: 12:4:7:6:5:6:5:6:5:8. Head shiny, setose, granulate and reticulate rugose; frontal line present; frons with two lateral keels near orbits; occipital carina complete; POL = 7; OL = 5; OOL = 5 OPL = 4; TL = 4. Pronotum dull, granulate, with numerous transverse keels; posterior surface longer than OPL (7:4) and shorter than mesoscutum (7:14); pronotal tubercle reaching tegula. Mesoscutum dull, granulate, reticulate rugose near lateral and posterior margins; occasionally mesoscutum granulate and sculptured by numerous irregular keels. Notauli incomplete, reaching about 0.5 × length of mesoscutum; occasionally notauli hardly visible among areolae and keels. Mesoscutellum shiny, unsculptured. Metanotum dull, not smooth, sculptured by numerous longitudinal keels. Mesopleuron and metapleuron granulate and sculptured by short transverse keels. Metapectal-propodeal disc reticulate rugose, dull, with transverse posterior keel; propodeal declivity completely granulate, without longitudinal keels, with few irregular keels near margins. Forewing hyaline, without dark transverse bands (in specimens from Democratic Republic of the Congo, 04°15’S 17°10’E, and Yemen, Ta’izz, forewing with small dark spot around 2r-rs&Rs vein); distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein much shorter than proximal part (3:7) (distal part longer than proximal part, according to Benoit 1954). Enlarged claw ( Figs 42C, 43A) with proximal prominence bearing one long bristle. Protarsomere 5 ( Fig. 42C) with one row of 23 lamellae (specimen from Yemen, Ta’izz, with two rows of 11+17 lamellae (Fig. 43A); specimen from South Africa, 29°39’23’’S 30°27’41’’E, with two rows of lamellae); apex with 4–5 lamellae.
