Adult.Colouration similar to  Jataiba uncigera  sp. nov.Abdominal sclerites completely dark brown. Male proctiger and subgenital plate dark brown, paramere ochreous with black apex. Female terminalia orange or light brown. Younger specimens with more expanded light colour. Structure. Vertex with big and flattened anteorbital tubercles. Genal processes 0.9–1.1 times as long as vertex along midline, adpressed medially. Antenna 4.1–4.5 times as long as head width. Forewing 2.4–2.5 times as long as head width, 2.2 times as long as wide; pterostigma moderately short, narrow at base; cell cu 10.8–0.9 times higher than wide; surface spinules much reduced, present only in apical half of cell r 1, and around the radular areas in the middle of cells r 2, m 1, m 2and cu 1, and in cell cu 2, leaving broad spinule-free stripes along the veins. Metatibia 0.5–0.6 times as long as head width. Terminalia as in Figs 82, 92, 93, 99. Male proctiger 0.3 times as head width, with distinct, relatively small, narrow posterior lobes basally. Paramere lamellar, irregularly tapering to apex; with one slightly forward directed sclerotised tooth near apex in the middle; inner surface sparsely covered in long setae, denser and thicker apically. Aedeagus indistinctly 3-segmented; distal portion only weakly expanded apically, bearing a sclerotised bar in the middle on either side; sclerotised end tube of ductus ejaculatorius large, curved, originating in apical half of segment. Female proctiger 0.8 times as long as head width, straight dorsally, apex truncate, not upturned; circumanal ring 0.3 times as long as proctiger. Female subgenital plate 0.5 times as long as proctiger, with broad incision subbasally, apex subacute; dorsal outline with distinct angular lobe in apical third. Measurements (in mm) and ratios ( 3 ♂, 1 ♀). Head width ♂0.96–0.98, ♀1.04; antenna length ♂4.04–4.40, ♀4.50; forewing length ♂2.34–2.38, ♀2.58; male proctiger length 0.28–0.32; paramere length 0.22–0.24; length of distal segment of aedeagus 0.22–0.24; female proctiger length 0.80.  Fifth instar immatureunknown.   Etymology.Participle, feminine form. From Latin incidere = to cut into, referring to the subbasal incision on the female subgenital plate.   Distribution. Brazil(GO, MG, PI).   Host plant, biology and habitat. Adults were collected on  Copaifera cearensisDuckeand  C. langsdorffiiDesf.which both are likely hosts.—Cerrado vegetation.   Comments.  Jataiba incisadiffers from other copaiba psyllids as indicated in the key. It is a member of the  J. uncigera-group and differs from the other species of this group in the indistinctly 3-segmented aedeagus which is only weakly expanded apically, and the female subgenital plate which is deeply incised subbasally. 2565888776 2016-06-21 2016-06-24 2016-06-21 PI, MZSP D.
