Revision of the genus Doryscus Jacoby (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae: Galerucinae) Lee, Chi-Feng Zootaxa 2017 4269 1 1 43 [151,347,1375,1401] Insecta Chrysomelidae Doryscus GBIF Animalia Coleoptera 11 12 Arthropoda species krausi sp. nov.     Types(n= 2). Holotype ♂( NHMB):  LAOS. Houa Phan prov.: Phou Pane Mt., 20°13’09–19” N 103°59’54”– 104°00’03”E, 1480–1550 m, 1.–16.V.2009, leg. Z. Kraus.  Paratypes:  THAILAND. 1♂( SEHU), Chiangmai prov.: Doi Pui,  27.V.1983, leg. S. Ohmomo.  Description.Length 4.0 mm, width 1.5 mm. General color yellow; but antenna dark brown; vertex black; elytra basally and apically darkened; outer margins of tibiae black ( Fig. 4B). Antenna filiform, antennomere I strongly swollen in male ( Fig. 6A), length ratios of antennomeres I–XI 1.0: 0.4: 0.6: 0.6: 0.6: 0.6: 0.6: 0.6: 0.6: 0.6: 0.7, length to width ratios of antennomeres I–XI 2.3: 1.7: 2.7: 3.0: 3.0: 3.0: 3.0: 3.4: 3.2: 3.3: 3.6. Elytra 1.8 x longer than wide, surface with erect, dense, elongate setae, punctures fine. Apical margin of last abdominal ventrite with two incisions in males ( Fig. 6B). Penis ( Figs 6C–6D) extremely slender, 8.5 x longer than wide, parallel-slided; apex of dorsal surface with extremely deep median notch; apex of ventral surface widely rounded, with shallow median groove; weakly curved in lateral view, apex with narrow notch between dorsal and ventral surfaces; ventral surface smooth. Endophallic spiculae long, about 0.6 x as long as penis, with a cluster of setae on apex of median spicula, apically widened; two pairs of lateral spiculae as long as median spicula, apices of inner pair more or less swollen, basally conjoined; one pair of lateral spiculae at middle elongate and apically tapering, one pair of ventral spiculae at base elongate and apically tapering.   FIGURE 6Diagnostic characters of  Doryscus krausiLee, sp. nov.6A. Antenna, male; 6B. Apical margin of abdominal ventrite V, male; 6C. Penis, dorsal view; 6D. Penis, lateral view; 6E. Endophallic sclerites, variation, dorsal view; 6F. Endophallic sclerites, lateral view.  Variability.One male possessed unmodified antennomere I (not swollen, 3.3x longer than wide), and relatively smaller lateral and ventral endophallic spiculae ( Figs 6E–6F).   Differential diagnosis.  Doryscus krausi  sp. nov.adults are similar to those of  D. scapusMohamedsaidin possessing swollen first antennomeres in males, but  D. krausidiffers by possessing black vertex, a pair of elongate and apically tapering spiculae at base, and at middle of endophallic spiculae, respectively. These are in contrast to the yellow vertex and two pairs of horn-like basal and median endophallic spiculae in  D. scapus.   Etymology. The new species is dedicated to Zdeněk Kraus, who collected the typespecimens. Distribution. Laos, Thailand. 1503377056 [151,1420,1482,1507] NHMB Laos 103.99833 Houa Phan prov.
