NW of Medawachchiya, Parayanalankulam, 3 paratypes[ USNM]; Hambantota District, Palatupana tank, 2 paratypes[ USNM]. China: Guangdong: Guangzhou, 25.VI.1983, 26.VI.1983, Z. Hosts. Lophopidae ( Guglielmino & Olmi 1997): in India: Pyrilla aberrans(Kirby), P. perpusilla(Walker)and P. pusanaDistant.
Distribution.Oriental. China: Taiwan, Guangdong ( He & Xu 2002); India, Pakistanand Sri Lanka( Olmi 1984, 1991; He & Xu 2002); Japan: Ryukyu Islands ( Mita 2009b). Notes. Typematerial of Lestodryinus pyrillaeprobably lost ( Olmi 1984); the modern identification of D. pyrillaeis based on topotypic material deposited in IARI.
