Body length 2.4 mm, fore wing length 3.1 mm. Head. Transverse in dorsal view, 1.9× as wide as long and distinctly narrower than mesoscutum (28.0:35.0). Temple shiny and indistinctly punctate, constricted. Face relatively shiny, pubescent, inner margin of eyes parallel, transverse, 0.7× as high as wide. Ocelli relatively large, distance between fore and a hind ocellus not longer than diameter of an ocellus, posterior imaginary tangent to fore ocellus slightly transecting hind two ocelli, POL:OD:OOL=4.5:2.5:4.8. Antenna slightly longer than body, penultimate antennomere 1.5× longer than wide. Mesosoma. Length:breadth:height=47.0:35.0:33.0. Disc of mesonotum relatively dull, coarsely punctate, interspaces smaller than diameter of punctures. Scutellar sulcus nearly straight, relatively broad with carinae in between. Scutellum relatively dull, with relatively deep punctures all over. Propodeum dull, with coarse setose punctures anterior-laterally, middle part and posteral-lateral field polished with a few carinae. Mesopleuron highly polished, with dense setose punctures anteriorly. Legs. Spines on outer side of hind tibia thick but dispersed. Inner spur of hind tibia 3/5th length of hind basitarsus, outer spur slightly shorter (2/5th). Hind basitarsus slightly shorter than tarsomeres 2–4 combined (18.0:19.0). Wings. Pterostigma 2.8× as long as its widest part. Vein 1-R1 (metacarp) almost as long as pterostigma, 4.5× as long as its distance from the apex of the marginal cell. Vein r arisingfrom middle of pterostigma, nearly as long as width of pterostigma, vein r slightlylonger than vein 2-SR, distinctly angled at their meeting, vein 2-M half of vein 2-SR. 1 st discalcell weakly wider than high. 1 st submarginalcell of hind wing 2× wider than high. Vein cu-a curved. Metasoma. A little longer than thorax (52.0:47.0). T1 parallel, 1.2× longer than wide posteriorly, concave at basal third, turned-over part punctate anteriorly, hind third shiny, almost impunctate, hind tubercle polished. T2 nearly straight apically, mostly smooth, except a few punctures scattered in the middle and extremely weak rugulose laterally, 3.3× wider than long in the middle. T3 weakly longer than T2 (7.0:6.0). Tergites after T2 shiny, polished, pubescent. Hypopygium not longer than apex of abdomen. Ovipositor sheath 6/7th length of hind tibia, thin and parallel-sided. Colour. Body black. Tegula dark brown. Spurs and palpi pale yellow. Antenna and ovipositor sheath evenly brown. Labrum and mandible dark red. Fore and middle Legs mostly yellow except fore and mid coxae and anterior half of mid femur brown, hind leg mostly dark brown except anterior half of hind tibia, anterior half of hind basitarsus and trochantellus yellow. Wing membrane hyaline, vein 1-R1, C+SC+R, r, 2-SR, 2-M and pterostigma brown, other veins pale yellow, pterostigma with pale basal spot.   FIGURE 29.  Dolichogenidea sophiae(Papp, 1972) ahead, dorsal view; bhind wing; cfore wing; dpropodeum and metasoma, dorsal view; ehead, frontal view; fmesosoma, dorsal view; ghabitus, dorsal view.
