It is especially common in the Crimea Peninsula ( Zalesskaja and Schileiko 1991, Zapparoli and Iorio 2012). The species has also been recorded in Central Europe and has been introduced into Great Britain and, probably, North America ( Zapparoli and Iorio 2012).
