Mandible with four angulate apical teeth. Clypeus with trapezoidal median lobe. Mesopleuron with transversal furrow. Anterior wing with stigma very slender; cubital vein (Cu) long. Posterior wing with jugal lobe reduced; subcostal vein (Sc+R) very long. Metasoma petiolate. Posterior margin of hypopygium slightly to strongly trilobate, with ventral posterior projection convex and drop-shaped; median stalk short; lateral stalk inconspicuous or absent. Membranous region of basiparamere cover base of aedeagus (about one third of aedeagus). Paramere double.   Description.Body elongated. Palpal formula 1:1. Mandible only slightly wider apically, apical width about 1.5 × basal width; four angulate apical teeth. Clypeus with trapezoidal median lobe with high median carina, straight in profile. Antenna elongated. Scape long. F1 longer than another ones. Flagellar setae about 1.0 × diameter of flagellomeres. Frons coriaceous, densely punctate. Eye salient, densely setose. Occipital carina complete, visible in dorsal view. Visible portion of prosternum very small. Mesosoma coriaceous. Pronotal disc trapezoidal, median-sized. Notauli parallel. Parapsidal furrow complete. Scutellar furrow long, posterior margin straight. Propodeal disc elongated with lateral carina; without median carina, sublateral carina and transversal carina. Mesopleuron with transversal furrow; without callus and foveae. Anterior wing with stigma very slender; cubital vein (Cu) long; vein 1cu-a very short and straight; only one spectral vein long (M). Posterior wing with jugal lobe reduced; subcostal vein (Sc+R) very long. Metasoma petiolate. Posterior margin of epipygium trilobate. Posterior margin of hypopygium slightly to strongly trilobate, with ventral posterior projection convex and dropshaped; median stalk short; lateral stalk inconspicuous or absent. Basal ring present, generally quadrangular. Aedeagus mesoconvex; with ventral apical projection angulated; basally gibbous. Membranous region of basiparamere cover base of aedeagus (about one third of aedeagus). Basal region of apodeme not visible. Paramere double; dorsal paramere apparently with dorsal insertion, slightly sclerotized, glabrous; ventral paramere subangulate. Cuspis very long and convex.   Etymology.Calo+brachium because this genus presents characters of hypopygium and genitalia like  CaloapenesiaTerayamaand clypeus trapezoidal like  PseudisobrachiumKieffer.
