Distribution. India: Bihar ( Crawford 1912, as Psyllopa obscura ; Mathur 1975, as Arytaina obscura ), Tamil Nadu ( Crawford 1924, as Arytaina obscura ; Ramakrishna Ayyar 1924, as Arytaina obscura ), Uttarakhand ( Mathur 1975, as Arytaina spinosa ); Nepal ( Miyatake 1981, as Arytaina spinosa ).

Host plants. Albizia chinensis , A. procera , Dalbergia sp. ( Fabaceae ).
