DISTRIBUTION: Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia , Nigeria, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Yemen, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Mansa, in Luapula Province ; Mumbwa and Kabwe, in Central Province ; Kaoma, in Western Province ; Kafue and Lusaka , in Lusaka Province; Chingola and Chililabombwe, in Copperbelt Province .
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Larval foodplants includes a yet to be identified Asteraceae species, namely Senecio sp. ( African Moths 2019).
