Material examined. CHINA, Xinjiang: 1♁, Hemu, Burjin , 1114 m, 24.VII.2007, leg. XP Wang et al., slide No. ZL 08225 .
Diagnosis. Adult ( Fig. 18 View FIGURES 17‒23 ). Wingspan 19.5 mm. Agonopterix bipunctosa is similar to A. pallorella ( Zeller, 1839) in both forewing pattern and male genitalia, and can be distinguished by the forewing with a blackish dot at base of the costal margin, which is absent in A. pallorella ; and in the male genitalia by the distal half of the cuiller almost uniformly wide ( Fig. 40 View FIGURES 36‒41 ), while the distal half of the cuiller is triangularly expanded in A. pallorella ( Buchner 2017a: 12, fig. 21).
Distribution. China (Xinjiang), Southern England, southern Sweden, France, Italy, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Latvia, Russia ( Lvovsky 2006).
