Remarks. This species was described on the basis of a single specimen. The holotype is deposited in Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle, Paris and was not available for my study. This species has the dorsum of the head and prothorax densely setose, stout antennae with antennomeres 3–7 each as long as broad, 8–10 transverse, the pronotum weakly elongate and widest in front of middle, with one pair of antebasal pits, and the aedeagus ( Franz (1986b): fig. 222) illustrated with a slightly asymmetrical pair of strongly elongate distolateral sclerites projecting from the ostium. Especially the latter character is typical of Anhoraeomorphus . A pair of movable distolateral endophallic sclerites is not known in any Malagasy Euconnus (Tetramelus) or Tetramelus -like species (to which some of the species previously placed in Horaeomorphus belong), while similarly strongly elongate distolateral sclerites are known in Anhoraeomorphus anosyensis ( Fig. 95 ) and A. roussettensis ( Fig. 167 ).

Distribution. Eastern Madagascar (exact locality unknown, according to Franz (1986b) collected in “Forét Côte Est”, i.e., in a forest of the eastern coast).
