Antillorbis aeruginosus (Morelet, 1851) View in CoL
We present the first record of this genus and species from St. Thomas. Previous records are from St. Croix, Puerto Rico, Haiti, Cuba and Dominica ( Harry and Hubendick 1964). We collected this species from Flamboyan ghut in isolated pools along the drainage. Harry and Hubendick (1964) discuss the ability of this species to survive prolonged drought.
