Material examined: Mi-183, 2 ex., Marakkanam estuary,
07.xii.2013.
Diagnosis: Shell ovoid with a rounded or angulous fundus, compressed conical processes projecting outwards near fundus; test covered with circular platetets, sometimes joining and rarely overlapping; aperture oval; dimension of test 65-88µm.
Distribution in India: Assam, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu (present record).
