Range: —Endemic to Bolivia (LP).
Ecology: —Rare, known from a single collection; epiphytic, in humid forests; 1500 m.
Notes: —Differs from A. david-smithii by the larger fronds to 30 cm long, longer clathrate rhizome scales (to 4.5 × 0.5 mm vs. 2.5–3.5 × 0.3–0.4 mm), sparsely setose to nearly glabrous petioles (vs. with reddish setae 0.5 mm long), longer median pinnae 3–3.7 cm long, 15–25 vein pairs per pinna, and blades abaxially setose on sterile as well as fertile portions (vs. setae largely confined to fertile portions abaxially).
