Biscutella tergestina Jord. (1864: 295) .

Ind. loc.: “ Le B. saxatilis du monte Spaccato, près Trieste, figuré par Reichenbach, dans ses Ic. Pl. rar. 7, 619, est, selon moi, une plante différente de celle du Valais. […] J’en ai reçu des exemplaires de M. Tommasini et l’ai désigné sous le nom B. tergestina ˮ.

Lectotype (designated here):— t. 619 in Reichenbach (Ic. Pl. rar.: 7, 1829).

= Biscutella laevigata L. subsp. laevigata

Note: the specimens sent by G. Tommasini could not be found in the various European collections consulted. Although A. Jordan probably studied them rather than the cited iconography, the latter can be accepted as original material since he indicates formally the equivalence in the protologue.
